Hello Trick or Treaters
The origin story has been revisited before - I wrote a heavily-condensed
two-page version a few years back - but this is the definitive version. For
now, anyway.
It was originally designed as the opener for a collection of Nicola Scott
stories, but various factors interrupted that - chiefly her getting nabbed
by DC to draw Birds of Prey. Then it was going to be the opener for the
Superdeformed tpb collection that was due out last year, but that's a story
for another time.
Let's not mourn what might have been though. Instead, I'm putting it
up on the site for you all to see. Now you can enjoy the story for
free. Tell your friends. Bring the kiddies.
As well as featuring the work of Nicola Scott, this story also features the
Halloween Man debuts of penciller David Baldeón and inker Scott Simmons, and
what a debut!
